The law of Karma or action is the philosophy which a reasoning brain holds in support of reincarnation, saying, "There is no such being as God as an intervener in our life's affairs, but it is we who by our actions produce results similar to them. There is the ever-ruling law of cause and effect, therefore every occurrence in life must be in accordance with it. If we do not get the results of our good or wicked deeds immediately that is because they need time to mature so as to produce similar results; if they do not do so in this life, then the law forces us to be born again in another incarnation, in order to experience in that the effect of our deeds."
